Fantastic house, right on the beach. We have never stayed this close to the sea before! Perfect for dog walking or for people with children as there is not even a road to cross - just straight out of the door and on the beach. The main bedroom is fantastic - you can lie in bed looking at the sea - very relaxing.
It has an enviable position with uninterrupted views behind and in front of the house. Behind, you look over beautiful unspoiled countryside, with acres of salt mashes and a patchwork of public footpaths waiting to be explored. In front you have direct access to miles of beaches and nature reserves that promise hours of coastal walking and bird watching pleasure. The Beach House house has amazing views over the sea instilling an instant sense of calm and relaxation.
Our weekend stay at The Beach House was truly relaxing. The property is very well equipped and it was such a treat to have direct access to the beach. We sat on the deck and watched the amazing sunsets. The open plan downstairs is perfect for family living and the upstairs bed facing the sea is a great idea.

This provides the perfect spot to watch the beautiful sunsets over the Isle of Sheppey whilst eating the locally bought fish. Go to sleep to the sound of the wind and the sea, get up, fling open the curtains and know immediately if the tide is in or out. The Beach House lives us to its name, it's right on the beach, you can see the sea as you wash up, as you watch TV, as you eat. The lovely minimalist interiors mean you can really appreciate the outside environment, the house is comfortable and everything works fine. It's not too far to get to the town and visit the lovely harbour and cafes. Highly recommended.

There are great facilities for the children providing hours of traditional seaside fun and entertainment. Sand castles and shell pictures (the beach is made up of sand, shingle and a million sea shells) Picnics on the beach at the bottom of the garden. Crabbing (We have the best crabbing spot close by) and skimming competitions to name a few.
Fantastic Beach House, we loved the peaceful beach and the sunsets. Whitstable town is a few minutes by car and there is a fantastic pub/ restaurant called the Sportsman about 10 mins walk. The house has everything you need and the beach is very private and safe for children.
